So, my wife asked me what happens to the body when your nitric oxide depleted, and how do you raise the levels naturally
Pretty Lady, here is the short and not necessarily sweet answer:
Depleted levels of nitric oxide can create the environment for chronic hypertension, atherosclerosis, heart disease, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s Disease. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but over time.
There are several things you can do to raise nitric oxide levels naturally. The first is exercise. I like Blood Flow Restriction Exercise. It raises nitric oxide levels in half the time, and even gets the human growth hormone going, which leads to the production of IGF-1; coupled with foods rich in L-arginine (turkey breast, pork loin, chicken, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, and dairy products like milk and yogurt)
Limit the Sweets, limit the salt and generally take care of your Endothelial Glyco-calax (EGX). The EGX does not thrive in a high blood pressure, and high glucose environment.
Take care of the oral microbiome. Lay off commercial mouth washes and tooth paste (yes, there are more natural versions of both that will improve your oral microbiome.).
Keep well hydrated.
This is just a start. Naturopathy Lane can help you improve your Nitric Oxide levels naturally.
